Placeful.World
Built for the next chapter.
The website evolved with the business. I built the initial site, redesigned its structure and presentation for a new direction, and continued to support the brand through video editing, SEO and connected publishing channels.

Building the first website
I worked on the initial Placeful site in Wix, bringing the layouts, navigation and enquiry form into a working desktop and mobile experience. I tested form submissions through Wix CRM and refined components and spacing across breakpoints.

Evolving the content experience
As the content developed, I refined how stories and places were organised within the client's Build, Grow and Thrive categories. The June history preview shows the homepage, Featured stories and community sign-up at this stage. Mobile readability and location tags were part of this phase of the collaboration.

Reading and finding stories
Readability before novelty
When a revised mobile layout separated the cards more clearly but made the titles harder to read, I returned to the more legible version and improved the spacing instead.
Structure without more navigation
Working with the client's Build, Grow and Thrive categories, I recommended using location tags to organise places without expanding the main navigation.
A new direction. A different website.
As Placeful prepared for a product launch and a shift in focus, the website needed to reflect that change. Working with the client's new logo, colour palette and content direction, I redesigned the homepage, refined the navigation and connected the main calls to action to early access.

Applying the supplied identity and connecting early access

Connecting interest to early access
A clearer route to early access
Working from the client's feedback, I simplified the navigation and brought the main calls to action back to the early-access form. I also clarified the form's role: collecting details and interests, rather than promising an account before the product was ready.

Long-form stories. Social edits.
Working from client-supplied footage, I edited long-form films and portrait social videos, including colour grading, voiceover work and refinements. The client handled publishing.

Keeping the digital presence connected.
Beyond the website build, I set up and maintained SEO and the brand’s connections across Google, Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. This work connected the website with the channels used to publish and distribute its content.
Delivery and reflection
The collaboration brings together website design and redesign, long-form and short-form video editing, SEO maintenance and connected digital channels. The brand and initial content direction came from the client; I developed the website and edited the supplied footage into finished content.
